Below is a directory of various resources that CAMTI utilizes. Some are governing bodies that provide the guiding principles and regulations by which CAMTI adheres. Others are providers of valuable information and references.  Links are provided to the corresponding websites.
Transport Canada

Transport Canada’s marine safety programs provide Canadians with a safe and efficient marine transportation system worthy of public confidence.

International Maritime Organization (IMO)

IMO is the United Nations' specialized agency responsible for safety and security of shipping and the prevention of marine pollution by ships

International Labour Organization (ILO)

The only tripartite U.N. agency, since 1919 the ILO brings together governments, employers and workers representatives of 187 member States , to set labour standards, develop policies and devise programmes promoting decent work for all women and men.

Royal Institute of Naval Architects (RINA)

The Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA), is an internationally renowned professional institution whose members are involved at all levels in the design, construction, maintenance and operation of marine vessels and structures.

Canadian Institute of Marine Engineering

The Canadian Institute of Marine Engineering (CIMarE) was incorporated by federal charter in 1976 to advance and promote the science and practice of marine engineering, naval engineering, naval architecture, ocean engineering, marine electrics/electronics, control engineering and other associated professions.

Society of Naval Architects & Marine Engineers

SNAME is an internationally recognized non-profit, professional society of individual members serving the maritime and offshore industries and their suppliers.

Master Mariners of Canada

The Company of Master Mariners of Canada nautical professional association with members serving in command at sea as well as members serving in management positions ashore in private and public sectors or as pilots, surveyors, practising law and teaching in nautical schools.

Canadian Marine Advisory Council (CMAC)

The Canadian Marine Advisory Council (CMAC) is Transport Canada's primary consultative body for marine matters.
